Faith Church is a body of believers committed to serving God by serving people.

We come together for worship and fellowship, and to educate and nurture one another in the Christian faith. We offer a positive message of Christian love by joyously sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. We seek to be faithful to the teachings of Holy Scripture and to our United Methodist heritage as they guide us in being an evangelistic, nurturing, and compassionate church.

We are committed to celebrating and supporting one another in the everyday joys and concerns of life.

History:

Faith Church started as a vision of a few United Methodists living in the northwest area of Bradenton and the Manatee County beaches. With a generous donation of property in 1985, work began in developing a new church as small groups met in homes and gathered together for special events.

Our first worship service was on September 7th, 1986 at the Palma Sola Elementary School and on February 8th, 1987, Faith Church was chartered and a building committee elected. Construction began with ground breaking in May, 1988, and occupation of our beautiful multi-purpose building occurred June 11, 1989.

Our charter members, rejoicing in our many blessings, have experienced Faith’s life through the years. As we welcome guests, visitors, and “snow birds”, we invite you to become part of our continued journey in the Kingdom of God.
